JSON Big Viewer is a browser-based viewer for large JSON and NDJSON files. Your file contents stay in your browser and are not uploaded to our application servers.
Open a file or paste JSON
Choose a .json, .ndjson, .jsonl, or text file, or paste JSON directly. Once parsed, use the tree to expand or collapse nested values.
Find, format, validate, and export
Search keys and values, format or minify valid JSON, validate syntax, copy results, and convert compatible data to CSV, SQL, TypeScript, or JSON Schema.
Working with large files
File limits depend on available browser memory, file structure, and your device. For the best experience with large files, use an up-to-date desktop version of Chrome or Firefox. Structure Preview can provide a lighter outline after a file has been parsed.
Keyboard shortcuts
- Ctrl/⌘ + O: choose a file
- Ctrl/⌘ + F: focus search after opening a file
- Esc: close an open toolbar menu or dialog
